Who am I?
Hi, my name is Mary. Grew up by the lake in the summers and spent the winters on the slopes. I have grown an appreciation for the outdoors and embracing my feelings for the mountains being my home.
I chose a career in the military because it was a practical way to fund my education and gain independence with a steady paycheck. I’ve stayed for the friendships, the pride of serving my country, and the purpose that comes with breaking barriers for future generations of women in uniform.
Why am I here?
After experiencing major life changes, I’ve started to re-evaluate what truly matters to me. I’m realizing that I don’t fully know what my passions are, what gives my life meaning, or where I want to go next. What I do know is that I want to be present, to find joy in every day and embrace what life has to offer.
Writing has become my way to explore these questions. It’s a space for reflection, honesty, and learning about myself and the world around me.
What is next?
I want to become someone I’m proud of, someone who showed up fully and gave her all while she was here. I don’t know exactly what’s ahead, but I’m ready for the journey. My hope is to create a space rooted in learning, acceptance, and courage. A place that celebrates women, individuality, with a little bit of wild rebellion.
